	 Reflect on the above verse. What does it mean to you to
&amp;ldquo;thirst&amp;rdquo; for God?  Today I begin a journey of reflecting
on ways in which God speaks to us through nature. During this journey,
I will be writing different reflections and giving suggested scripture

	 This week I start a new sermon series called Heroes for God.  It
seems like these days, super hero movies are all the rave.  I&amp;#39;m
not complaining, I can&amp;#39;t wait to see The Avengers. I&amp;#39;d like to
think I could be as brave and courageous as the super heroes. I&amp;#39;d
like to think I would be willing to sacrifice myself for the greater
good.  I think that the character Katness from the Hunger Games is a

<title>The Passion</title>

	 There was no radar to guide artillery shells in WWI.  Missiles were
simply lobbed over hills and trees much as one lobs a rock over a
brick wall at some hidden target. To remedy this situation, artillery
officers used to go aloft in hot-air balloons to locate the target and
give directions to their gunners. Going up in the balloon was a
dangerous job, because the person was a perfect target. One officer
said that just the thought of going up made him &amp;ldquo;sweat

	 I invite you to take a journey with me to Jesus&amp;#39; time and use
your imagination as we enter into John 21:1-10. 

	 We are the unnamed disciples in John&amp;#39;s passage.  All of us
disciples are feeling like we are in limbo.  We are uncertain what to
do next. Without Jesus&amp;#39; leadership we don&amp;#39;t know if we are to
continue teaching and healing or if we should go back to what we used
